Is success measured by wealth
One day, while I was in a success seminar, the speaker asked everyone.. the most simplest question. What is your goals or dreams. I stammered for a while and instantly started to search the database in my brains for an answer which will not embarrass me in a crowd of 50 – 60 people who seemed all ears. My mind started to think of all the famous and successful people I know and read about.. Donald Trump, Anthony Robbins.. even Adolf Hitler.. My Dreams.. My IDOLS.. hahahaha. suddenly It came to my mind.. I want to be an SUCCESSFUL Inspirational Motivator.. YES.. That’s what.. I am and That is What I wish to share with others. While waiting for my turn to reveal my dream to my fellow friends in the room.. a second thought questions my integrity. All those, I idolize are RICH and FAMOUS.. so shouldn’t I have that MILLION DOLLAR wealth as my dream too. At that moment I felt like a child with a new set of toys and proudly smiling away for my turn to share..
Me : I have 2 dreams.. firstly, I wish to be a motivational speaker.. ( looking with awe ) and secondly I wish to have a Million Dollar cash in my bank account.. (now my eyes balls started to twinkle with $$$ Chink.. Chink..).
My friends were amazed as we all had the same dreams.. WOW.. what a sync in thoughts..
Form that day, I started to search for motivational speeches, read positive quotes and even attempt to write some myself… I was on fire.. nothing stops me now.
A few days past and I was still on that note of being a motivational speaker and my million dollar dreams..
Eventually, one day while I was searching for some answers ( the routine ). I had a voice asking me the question.. ” Do you want to be a motivational speaker because you want to be a millionaire” I stopped a moment and asked that devilish thought to go away.. while I was watching a drama series.. my mind stood still on a topic about family above all and having a happy family is the best success a man could have compared to wealth.. This is something which I was working towards for many years in my life.. but eventually brushed it to the corner of my brain cell.. when I started to be too busy with life’s complexity.
YES!!! I used to work long hours building a business to sustain my financial needs.. when my kids, growing up years, I was working most days to pay the bills. Now, when I have enough to support my family, I feel It’s not enough and I want to dream bigger. AM I RIGHT !!!…
Success is not about getting rich, Its about doing something your passion drive you to achieve.. we should not measure success by the wealth me attained.. it should be the goals we pursue everyday to achieve a balanced lifestyle. How fun will it be. when we grow old and asked a question by our grandchildren.
Grandchild : What did you do in your life?
Our Reply : I worked very hard to achieve every of my dreams that I’m so rich now and I’m leaving all these wealth for you to enjoy..
Grandchild : So what should I do enjoy my life with all these wealth?
Our Reply : ??? just enjoy yourself..
If we walk the mile for my descendants.. We are not giving them a chance to walk the life and experience what we have “enjoyed” what life has giving us.. groomed us and educated us into.. so instead of walking for them.. we should just walk our life and spend all our spare time teaching them how to walk theirs.. giving them an opportunity to taste life too.. instead of spending all our time making money and saving money for the rainy days.. we should prepare our kids to face the rainy days. when we don’t feel contended with what we have.. there is nothing in life would make us happy.. So we should admire every bit of our achievements thus far.. This is SUCCESS.
We are born as a unique composition, we eat and grow, fall sick and recover, get hurt and heal, reproduce.. Our body is so complex that we are self sustaining.. to live a life.. but then why are we not the same in our material belongings.. some are rich.. some are poor.. why are our bodies not designed to attain wealth ( money ). Money is an exterior factor created by man to judge each other. Anyone who lives a contented life, a dedicated life for he’s well being and to protect he’s kind and all living things on earth.. This is SUCCESS.
Everyone is a successful person in their own ways.. a single mother bringing up her son to be a fine young man, a father dedicating he’s time for he’s children, making sure he teaches them family values and not depriving them from love.. These people may not be rich with money but they are rich with love, care and giving. This is a SUCCESS.
Having FUN with the life given to us and manage it without disrupting it internally and externally.. stop comparing our lifestyle with others and pursue our goals everyday without putting ourselves nor our family in jeopardy.. Fit in the shoes of your size, which will be comfortable and walk with grace.. This is SUCCESS.
Therefore, success cannot be measured only by money and business ownership.. success is well being, maturity, parenting, love and care, giving and so on… everyone is a successful person in their own domain. So let’s not fit in others dream.. we live our own dreams and make that successful. If we live our passion with dedication, eventually, SUCCESSES will come in… that’s the rule.
Many people ask, so how do I get rich. The key to your success is doing your passion ( I’m not talking about work alone ) just mere passion.. just do what you feel satisfied and what you like, and whatever drives you the most.. ask yourself. It’s just that simple.. REALLY. if you feel getting rich by doing a task.. if money drive you.. then that’s not your passion.. You should feel satisfied and happy… by just completing a task with your 100% effort.. now that’s your passion.. the feeling of self satisfaction is more then what money can be bought with… This is SUCCESS.
So as this is my first post about success as i usually write about music stuff. This is a long post. If you are reading these lines, then i’m sure you may have read my whole post. Thanks you so much.
